Lily Allen and Ed Simons: Back together (?)
July 08, 2008 - Category: Press Articles - Posted by: Zac
Lily Allen has fuelled speculation of a reconciliation with ex-boyfriend Ed Simons after the pair announced their relationship on a social networking website.
The 23-year-old split with the Chemical Brothers DJ earlier this year just weeks after she miscarried the couple's baby.
But the Smile hitmaker has recently enjoyed a series of dinner dates with Simons and they also attended Glastonbury Music Festival together.
And now Allen and Simons have offered the strongest hint yet that they have revived their romance - by admitting to being in a relationship with each other on their Facebook.com profile pages.
According to British newspaper The Sun, Simons also wrote Allen a message saying "Nice to be in a relationship."
A source tells the publication, "Ed was there for Lily when she really needed him and that has brought them close together. So they decided to give it another go."

Lily Allen: BACK TO BLACK!
July 08, 2008 - Category: Press Articles - Posted by: Zac
Lily Allen finally decided to replace that awful pink thing growing on her head with something a little more natural. Looks like she added some blunt bangs as well! Nice going, Lil!
But why would she ever do such a thing? And will she be participating in some Bikram yoga soon? Also, how does she feel about the stabbings in the U.K.?
There's probably a blog out there somewhere that explains all this. Oh look, there is!...
Lily answered all these pressing questions and more in her most recent MySpace diary entry. We'll save you some time and just give you the answers:
She changed her hair because she "got bored of the pink." She will indeed be starting Bikram yoga this week, which she thinks is so "YAWN." And she makes this plea to her fellow countrymen: "please can everyone stop stabbing each other in the UK."

Lily Allen's Naughty new album!
July 02, 2008 - Category: Press Articles - Posted by: Zac
Lily Allen has said her second album will be called Stuck On The Naughty Step.
The Smile star recently finished the album in LA and has worked with producers Mark Ronson and Greg Kurstin, who also worked on her first album 'Alright, Still'.
In a new interview, Lily explained the title: "In England, when kids are naughty, they get sent to sit on the naughty step. "Like a timeout, you know? I feel like I'm stuck in a hole where people say, 'Lily, you're bad. Go think about what you've done.'"
She said: "I'm really scared about what people are going to say. I don't know why. Some people will like it and some won't. If people hate it, then I'll just try something else."
Lils' also denied claims she’s out of control telling the magazine: "Who, at age 23, hasn't passed out from alcohol? I just happen to have photographers following me.
"I haven’t drunk the whole time I've been here in L.A., and I'm up every day at 8."
Reports say the new album - the follow up to Alright, Still - is more electro-pop. It tackles issues like prescription drugs and the British National Party.

Lily and Lindsay doing it together?
July 01, 2008 - Category: Press Articles - Posted by: Zac
Lily Allen is set to record a duet with Lindsay Lohan.
The 'Smile' singer reportedly wants to team up with the 'Mean Girls' actress - who has had a pop career as well as acting success - for a track on her eagerly-awaited second album, according to New! magazine.
However, the proposed duet, entitled 'Wherever We Go', has not gone down well with some music fans who think it could harm Lily's career.
Lily became friends with Lindsay after spending time with her and the actress' rumoured girlfriend Samantha Ronson, while she was in Los Angeles working on her album.
Lily Allen completes recording!
June 30, 2008 - Category: Press Articles - Posted by: Zac
Lily Allen has completed recording sessions for her second album.
The singer told Newsbeat she is yet to name the follow up to Alright Still but she is happy with the new record.
She told Newsbeat: "I’m pretty much sure it’s finished and I’ve got a meeting on Tuesday with the label, I’m really happy."
The singer also admitted that despite the pressure to repeat the success of her debut, she is not worried about what her record company think of it.
She added: "As much as I love them they’re just people who give you a loan. I’m not scared of my label."
Away from her recording sessions, Lily also said she has been working with Klaxons singer Jamie Reynolds on a new song.
The pair told Newsbeat they took time out to go into the studio together a couple of weeks ago.
Lily said: "We had our session and enlightened each other. We did a cover of Joe Jackson’s Steppin' Out.
Jamie added: "And that wonderful song that we’re yet to finish."
He went on: "It was just for a bit of enjoyment. I don’t even know if it’ll even exist yet. It’s a big work in progress."
Lily Allen pays tribute to Nan
June 30, 2008 - Category: Press Articles - Posted by: Zac
Romance appeared to be back on the program for Lily Allen and Chemical Brothers' star Ed Simons at Glastonbury yesterday.
The former lovers were spotted cosying up back stage as the three-day festival drew to a close.
The singer was apparently seeking comfort in her on-off boyfriend after learning her grandmother had died.
Later as she she sang as a special guest of producer Mark Ronson, she told the assembled crowd: "You know what? My nanny Allen died last night so, this one's for you. I love you."
During the performance she also surprised the audience with the revelation that she had been coming to Glastonbury for 20 years - presumably in the arms of her hell-raising father, the actor Keith Allen.
